She enjoys both aggressive negotiation on behalf of her clients and aggressive trial strategies. One of the hallmarks of her practice is client-centric legal services provided to clients. Mrs. Roth values each of her clients and strives to achieve the best results while making each client feel comfortable. Mrs. Roth is married and enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She supports many non-profit organizations and believes that volunteering and giving to the community you live and work in, is essential to leading a full life. When asked what sets her apart from other attorneys, Laura says, “I understand that when people need an attorney, they are at their most vulnerable. I strive to treat every client with the same care, respect, and professionalism I would want for myself or someone I love. I am thankful every day that I am able to help others achieve what they could not do on their own. I love my job and believe it makes a difference in how I represent my clients.”

The Bar College recognizes Texas lawyers who voluntarily attend at least double the minimum Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes required by the State Bar of Texas.

Ilana knew that one day she would become a lawyer. Her mother and father are both attorneys and are both excellent examples of conscientious and dedicated lawyers. And though the relationship she has with her parents and younger brother is very close-knit, she decided to move to Austin in 2005 to attend the University of Texas. Ilana majored in Communication Studies and Government, while also managing to attend every home UT football game.
Ilana fell in love with Austin and decided to stay here for law school. While attending the University of Texas School of Law, Ilana completed internships at the City of Austin Law Department, the Travis County Attorney’s Office, the Office of the Governor, the Four Seasons Hotel and Spa, the Travis District Attorney’s Office, and the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. She also worked for multiple family attorneys and developed a strong interest in family law. Ilana completed two semesters of the Children’s Rights Clinic in Law School, where she represented children as an attorney ad litem in cases where the state was seeking termination of parental rights.
Ilana opened her own solo family law practice in 2013 practicing exclusively family law. Ilana’s cases are an equal mix of divorces, child custody modifications and adoptions. Ilana also represents both children and parents in Travis and Williamson Counties regarding Child Protective Services cases.
In her spare time, Ilana enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs, Crockett and Max. Ilana has received the client’s choice award on AVVO.com for divorce and child custody cases. Ilana shows extreme compassion while dealing with her client’s who are going through very difficult and traumatic times in their lives.

A mother of two sons, Amy draws upon both her professional and personal experience to guide families through difficult and challenging times. Being a parent, Amy understands personally the rewards of raising children and can assist clients in the custody decisions that occur in a divorce and minimize the impact on the family.
